• Moratorium established by the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux since 2001 barring the issuance of video lottery terminal operating licenses.
• In effect until November 20, 2009, a voluntary removal program offered to retailers situated within a 2.3-kilometre radius of the Ludoplex gaming halls in Québec City and Trois-Rivières.
