Having reviewed a number of avenues, Loto‐Québec has decided to end the Lotomatique subscription service as of September 14, 2013. This decision was taken because, among other reasons, it is now possible to purchase lottery products for several draws right from the lotoquebec.com/online web site, and this new distribution method better meets consumers’ new habits. Moreover, the update of Lotomatique’s current technological platform would be very costly, and adding new products is increasingly complex due to its obsolescence. For all these reasons, Loto‐Québec will no longer accept subscriptions.
In addition, subscriptions that are in effect after January 25, 2013, will expire either on September 14, 2013 or on the previously stipulated date (see the expiration date indicated on the subscription certificate), if that date is before September 14, 2013.
Subscribers will soon receive a letter providing details on the terms of their subscription. In the event said subscription was scheduled to continue after September 14, 2013, Loto‐Québec will reimburse the amounts for the draws in which they will not be able to participate using Lotomatique, as this service will cease operating on September 14, 2013.
All non‐profit organizations (NPOs) accredited for Lotomatique sales were informed on November 5, 2012, that the subscription service would end.
Please note that you may purchase lottery products for several draws in advance by registering on Loto‐Québec’s online sales site (lotoquebec.com/online). You may also purchase tickets for a draw with Formule groupe at one retailer among our network of some 8600 retailers.
