The Sprinto animation reveals a selection for an evening draw and the results of the in-store Quick Play (racing game). You can purchase either a $2 selection or a $5 selection.
When your transaction is being processed, the 5 contestants designated by the numbers of the selection on your ticket will be shown on the terminal’s consumer screen in order to race against each other. Before the race starts, and in a random manner:
In the event of a win at Quick Play, the prize is the one associated with the contestant who wins the race.
You may only play by asking a retailer for a Quick Pick; a Quick Pick is a selection generated at random by Loto-Québec’s computer. A selection is made up of 5 numbers from 1 to 50. Only one selection per ticket.
Payment must be made before the retailer goes through with the transaction on the game terminal. The retailer cannot cancel a Sprinto ticket.
Quick Play – A selection is a winner if the contestant that wins the race is associated with a prize in the applicable prize structure. Quick Play is a game that is randomly generated by Loto-Québec’s computer. Quick Play is available every day and the grand prize is $5,000 for $2 selections, and $25,000 for $5 selections.
The draw – On each draw date, or as soon as possible thereafter, Loto-Québec will cause 5 numbers to be drawn at random from among all numbers from 1 to 50.
A selection is a winner if it contains 2, 3, 4 or 5 numbers identical to the numbers drawn (see the Prize Structures - Draw). There is no requirement to win in the Quick Play to be eligible to win in the draw game. Your ticket indicates the date of the draw for which your selection is valid. If your wager is registered before 9:00 p.m., you will participate in the draw held on the same day. Otherwise, you will participate in the evening draw of the following day. Only one prize can be claimed per winning selection per draw.
If your valid initial ticket wins $600 or less at Quick Play, you may have your ticket validated by and claim the applicable amount from a retailer even before the draw of the date indicated on this ticket. In such a case, the retailer pays out the applicable amount, hands you your initial ticket and a replacement ticket valid for the same draw. It is this replacement ticket that will allow you to claim any prizes that might be won in this draw. A pre-draw claim of a Quick Play win of more than $600 may be made in person at the Winner’s Payout Section at Loto-Québec’s Montréal or Québec City offices.
If you choose to wait until after the draw to claim your Quick Play win, keep your initial ticket for the draw and your claim. In this case, any prize won in the draw can be claimed at the same time as any amount won in the Quick Play, in accordance with the deadlines and procedures normally applicable to claims (see back of ticket for details).
