You can play by asking the retailer for a Quick Pick, a selection of numbers randomly generated by Loto-Québec’s computer. You can also pick your own numbers by completing a selection slip and having it validated by the retailer. A play consists of three (3) selections, each of which contains seven (7) numbers from 1 to 49. A main draw is held each week on Fridays. When the jackpot, 7/7 selection, is not won for a draw, the jackpot amount is added to the jackpot of the following draw. Once the 7/7 prize pool exceeds $50,000,000, the jackpot is capped at $50 00 000, and the excess is divided into additional prizes of $1 million, the Maxmillions. For each of those Maxmillions, an additional selection of 7 numbers from 1 to 49 will be drawn. These selections are not decomposable and the prizes are shared amongst the winners. This lottery is sold throughout Canada. When you play, you can add Extra to your ticket.
