Our Social Contribution

Loto-Québec’s social contributions take the form of financial support to more than 1,000 non-profits organizations (NPOs), promotion of healthy gaming, support of more than 100 public events and a contribution into designated funds, such as the Fonds d’aide à l’action communautaire autonome.

2008-2009 Contributions

$25 million for the fight against excessive gaming

$19.4 million in contributions to non-profit organizations (NPOs)

$30 million in contributions to the Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux for services for the elderly who have lost their autonomy

$6.1 million to the Ministère de l'Agriculture, des Pêcheries et de l'Alimentation for agricultural fairs

$18.4 million to the Fonds d'aide à l'action communautaire autonome and to the Fonds d'aide à l'action humanitaire internationale

$15.6 million in sponsorships to support over 100 events and festivals

$400,000 for the acquisition of contemporary works of art
