What’s New at Loto-Québec Editorial Policy

The What’s New at Loto-Québec newsletter is designed to provide information about our plans and the latest news about our various corporate activities. This publication also focuses on our economic, social and environmental contributions, and it promotes public awareness of our initiatives in the areas of social responsibility, sustainable development and responsible gaming. The publication will feature no advertising or articles of a commercial nature.

Responsibilities

What’s New at Loto-Québec is written, produced and distributed by Loto-Québec’s Department of Corporate Communications and Public Relations. Working under the supervision of the Director of Corporate Communications and Public Relations, the Editor of the newsletter is responsible for preparing its content and assuring its compliance with the present policy. For its part, an editorial committee is charged with editing and approving the copy. Finally, the newsletter’s design, layout and distribution is carried out by the Digital Communications Department, again working under the supervision of the Director of Corporate Communications and Public Relations.

Publication Frequency and Accessibility

The newsletter is published 8-10 times a year, and each edition will consist of 3-4 pages. All editions of What’s New at Loto-Québec are archived and accessible on Loto-Québec’s Website at lotoquebec.com in its own designated section. Each edition is also obtainable as it is published via online subscription on the same Website.

Language

All articles and documents contained in the newsletter will be published in French in accordance with the accepted written standards of that language. In addition, an English version of the publication is available upon request, and it is possible to subscribe to both language versions.

Intellectual Property and Hypertext Links

The reproduction, adaptation and quotation of copy in articles featured in the newsletter are governed by the laws pertaining to intellectual property (source references, obtaining of authorization for reproduction). All material and original content (text, images and graphics, if applicable) is the property of Loto-Québec and is also protected under the laws governing intellectual property.

Moreover, Loto-Québec expressly prohibits any person from authorizing or establishing a link from a third party to the Portal, or from using any framing, mirror site or other similar method without the prior consent of the Corporation’s Customer Service Department.

Confidentiality and Protection of Personal Information

No personal information collected during the subscription process will be divulged to a third party without prior authorization. All such information will remain strictly confidential.
