Duceppe, 35 ans d’émotion
April 23 to June 1, 2008
Espace Création Loto-Québec presents Duceppe, 35 ans d’émotion, an exhibition that pays tribute to this man of the theatre, his life’s work, and to a history of emotions etched in ink.
Produced in collaboration with La Compagnie Jean Duceppe, this retrospective covers 35 years of theatre productions. Photographs of the actors, costumes, props and video clips plunge visitors back into the pages of Québec’s theatrical history to relive emotionally charged highlights of the 178 plays performed and produced over the years. Impressive scale models of famous set designs, some of which are being shown for the first time, project visitors onto the stages where life was played out time and again.
Designed with a theatrical backdrop, Duceppe, 35 ans d’émotion showcases the work of dramatic artists, who toil in the shadows to draw life forth into the spotlight.
Take a turn for the dramatic and delve into the wondrous world of the theatre. A historic event of theatrical proportions you won’t want to miss!
