Artwork Loans

Since the Collection Loto-Québec was created, Loto-Québec has tasked itself with supporting Quebec's visual arts community and giving greater exposure to contemporary art in the province. As such, Loto-Québec graciously makes the Collection accessible, primarily to the corporation's employees (through its sponsorship program), but also to various public organizations. This gives staff and visitors an opportunity to benefit from the wealth and diversity of the creative works and experimentation by Quebec's professional artists. The following policy was developed to guide loans of works belonging to the Collection Loto-Québec.

Eligibility criteria

The objective of the loan program is to give a wider audience access to the works in the Collection. Considering the nature of these loans, only specific organizations and government departments, as well as the artists whose works are included in the Collection, may make use of the program:

• Loto-Québec's subsidiaries
• Government ministers, leaders and whips, as well as opposition party leaders
• Museums, if the work(s) on loan are to be part of an exhibition
• Quebec's missions abroad
• Artists whose works are held by the Collection, and their heirs
