Our employees are involved in the community

Did you know that in Québec, over 37% of people aged 15 and over does volunteer work? This number is also reflected in our corporation. Over 2,000 of our employees are involved in the community, whether volunteering for causes that are close to their hearts or forming teams of employees that launch community projects in their free time, via our Engagés dans la communauté* volunteer program.

These are some of their good works:

  • 200 of our employees took part in an extensive activity held simultaneously in food safety organizations in Montréal, Gatineau, Mont-Tremblant and Charlevoix

Our employees have initiated eight coups de cœur projects, which involved, among other things, remodelling the facilities of various non-profit organization as well as preparing and serving meals to the parents of hospitalized children.

Entraide campaign

For several years now, our employees have contributed to Entraide, an annual campaign that calls on the employees, current and retired, of public service and parapublic departments and organizations. Entraide comprises 36 organizations overseen by Centraide, Partenaires-Santé and Red Cross, Québec division.

Whether participating in the various organized activities or making one or several donations, our employees generously helped raise over $1.5 million since 2007, which was distributed to several different organizations.
