Its objective is not to direct you to a specific file or document via a link. It is simply a reference tool that allows you to verify whether or not the documents you seek are, in fact, part of our activities. We distribute this inventory under paragraph 5 of Section 4 of the Regulation respecting the distribution of information and the protection of personal information.
This inventory is established and kept up to date in accordance with Section 76 of An Act respecting access to documents held by public bodies and the protection of personal information (hereinafter Access Act) and must, under this Section, contain information on the security measures taken to protect personal information. Measures may vary depending on the type of file and the information it contains.
For paper files, security measures may include, among others, controlling access to buildings or offices as well as controlling document use.
For computer files, security measures may include, among others, measures to prevent unauthorized access to files, data verification logs, background security checks on personnel, data removal procedures, measures to protect materials and programs as well as rules and practices for verifying programs and files.

We distribute this register under paragraph 6 of Section 4 of the Regulation respecting the distribution of information and the protection of personal information.
Documents of public interest are available in our virtual Documentation Centre.
These documents address certain aspects of our mission, publicized topics or other issues of public interest. This category includes documents that we have disclosed following a request for access, studies or research reports. We distribute these documents under paragraphs 7, 8 and 15 of Section 4 of the Regulation respecting the distribution of information and the protection of personal information.
Certain documents of public interest that are more administrative in nature are deposited in the National Assembly of Québec. These may include reports of our activities, such as our annual and quarterly reports, our profile of societal contributions or documents tabled during parliamentary committee proceedings.
