Our sustainable development initiatives

We play a role in Québec's social development

We carefully monitor the efficiency of each of our activities to balance our economic mission and our social responsibility, resulting in concrete actions that benefit Québec society.

Our recent initiatives

• Implementing a composting program at the Casino du Lac-Leamy, the Hilton Lac-Leamy hotel, the complex's conference centre and at the Casino de Mont-Tremblant. Each year, nearly 600 tons of composted leftovers are kept out of landfills and more than 3 million visitors are educated on sustainable development principles.
   
• Developing an iPad application that helps event organizers calculate the volume of greenhouse gases emitted when transporting event participants. The application can be downloaded for free from the iTunes store.
   
• Launching the Engagés dans la communauté corporate volunteer program, with more than 1,000 employees having volunteered to date. The three possible spheres allow employees to get involved in various areas of activity.
