CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY
Welcome to Espace Création, a venue for exhibitions and activities dedicated to promoting the visual arts. This site provides a special showcase to budding and established creative artists from Québec.
Espace Création revitalises and bolsters the commitment Loto Québec made more than 30 years ago to actively support contemporary creative arts, while raising the public profile of La Collection Loto-Québec.

Territoires imaginés, par les artistes de la Collection Loto-Québec
From April 17 to June 23, 2013
Come to Espace Création and explore our collective and imaginary homeland as seen by artists whose works are part of Collection Loto‑Québec.
Homeland, in a literal or poetic sense, real or fictional, is the theme that links the 67 works in this new exhibition.
A wonderful text penned by Fred Pellerin describes his personal world, one where the idea of homeland takes on all its meaning.
In addition, artists from all over Québec, including Mario Faubert, René Derouin and Frédéric Back, transport you to majestic, surprising, original and charming lands.
It should be noted that this particular Espace Création exhibition features the greatest number of figurative works, with depictions of places and objects we know. Homeland could be anything from an artist’s studio in Saint‑Henri or a Hudson Bay cliff to medusas or a weird portrait of insects in an apartment.
The title Territoires imaginés is the namesake of a painting by Giorgia Volpe, a Collection Loto‑Québec artist, that was selected by Loto‑Québec to express the idea of homeland.
In order to contribute to the improvement of our common homeland, Loto‑Québec will finance a tree planting initiative in cooperation with a local organization in each region where the Territoires imaginés exhibition stops.
After spending some time in Montréal, the Territoires imaginés exhibition will go on tour until 2015, with stops in Sherbrooke, Saint-Jérôme and Rouyn-Noranda. Presented free of charge, the travelling exhibition provides an excellent showcase for Collection Loto‑Québec artists as well as increased access to visual arts.
Territoires imaginés, par les artistes de la Collection Loto‑Québec, an exhibition that will leave a greening mark for decades to come…
