CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY
Through a unique program called Les entrées en scène Loto‑Québec and our partnership with the Réseau indépendant des diffuseurs d’événements artistiques unis (RIDEAU, in French only), we support budding Québec artists from all disciplines (song, dance, music, theatre, circus arts, storytelling, comedy, etc.).
Each year, fifteen artists are selected to participate in the Les entrées en scène Loto-Québec program.
How does the program benefit artists?
It gives the selected artists visibility through Bourse RIDEAU, the largest French-speaking performance market in North America. The event offers up-and-coming artists five days of meetings and interactions with other artists, producers, agents and presenters. In addition, five of the selected artists are given the opportunity to participate in a showcase, each performing an excerpt of a show on one of Québec City’s stages. It is a dream opportunity to be seen by key players in the performance industry and by the general public.
And that’s not all! Thanks to the invaluable ongoing support from presenters and networks, the Les entrées en scène Loto‑Québec program also gives five artists the chance to experience all the aspects of a nearly one-year tour of Québec’s different cities and show halls.
