Did you know...?
Did you know that people who wanted to participate in Loto-Québec’s first draws in 1970 had to send in their entries and receive their prize by mail? We are now on the sixth generation of gaming terminals, the third for multi-cash register machines and the first for self-serve ticket checkers.
Did you know that, in 1993, Québec was the eighth province to implement a government-managed network of video lottery terminals (VLTs) to curb the proliferation of illegal machines? Since then, the number of VLTs in operation has been reduced from 45,000 to approximately 12,000. The machines are only available in licensed establishments.
